In late November 2018, a bright 31-year-old woman named Ashley Young went to visit an old friend, Jared Chance, at Mulligan’s Pub in Grand Rapids.
A few days passed, and nobody had heard or seen Ashley until a neighbor made a shocking discovery in a shared basement.
What followed was a retired police officer and his wife’s attempted cover up for their son, a heinous display of evidence between two homes, and a lot of details that are sick, infuriating, and to this day are still left unexplained.

Stephanie takes us on a road trip to a mysterious 127-year old historic mansion located in Detroit, Michigan. The location was originally the residence of David Whitney Jr. and his family before it became a part of the Wayne County Medical Society for tuberculosis patients. And now, it serves as a restaurant which includes its famous Ghost Bar where many apparitions vanish between rooms... serve as bathroom attendants... and help sort silverware?

Remember the movie Jeepers Creepers? With Justin Long and the nostalgic early 2000s vibes? Yes, that one. This week we're talking about a man named Dennis DePue who lived in Coldwater, Michigan and may have inspired the movie's opening scene.

We're doing something a little bit different in the spirit of post-Halloween: Choose Your Fighter.
This week, Stephanie and Gracey seek to end this ongoing war on vampires vs. werewolves. So, we have each taken a historical figure to pit against one another. Elizabeth Bathory slaughtered hundreds of girls and bathed in their blood, earning herself the title as The Blood Countess. Meanwhile... Peter Stump, a wealthy farmer sold his soul to the Devil so he could become a powerful werewolf.
We each present our fighter and argue who would win in a fight-- we'll tell you now that it's definitely a bloodbath. Listener discretion is STRONGLY advised.

We're going on a hike in this episode through the dark, wooded areas of Michigan, Connecticut, and Ohio. What's lingering in the shadows, you ask? Melon Heads. And legend has it they like hanging around the Felt Mansion in Saugatuck, Michigan. Which... is a haunting and mysterious place in itself.

This week Gracey takes us to the crossroads. The first story involves the senseless muder of 16 year old David Lee Crawford back in 1996. All for what? A real human skull to use as decoration. Federico Cruz was truly a monster, and Michigan’s youngest juvenile to be given a life sentence. Gracey also shares her own experience back in 2018 when she came across something sinister on some railroad tracks.

Not having all the pieces for a puzzle at an asylum would be maddening, would it not? It’s okay, we gotchyu. Gracey puts together the fragmented memories of a child patient named Ronny Larson who was admitted to Traverse City State Hospital in 1965. Behind closed doors is where Ronny and many other patients suffered great pain. Through intensive research, we uncover the hauntings and very real demons the child patients of Hall-18 faced.
